Art Potoq is a Toronto-based art and creativity hub inspired by the Iranian concept of a warm, inclusive gathering space. Rooted in the belief that art should be accessible, relatable, and community-driven, Art Potoq brings together immigrant artists, art lovers, and the public in an inspiring and supportive environment. Its mission is to bridge cultural gaps, support artists, especially those with migration stories, and foster real human connection through creative expression.

Art Potoq provides a collaborative platform for artists to share their stories, explore new ideas, and grow collectively. It nurtures a space for experimentation, cultural exchange, and meaningful dialogue, where creativity is not only a practice, but a shared journey that builds belonging and sparks transformation.
As a center focused on artistic practices and supporting artists, Art Potoq needed a visual identity that not only reflects its creative mission but also resonates with the spirit and values it promotes. Rather than following a rigid or traditional visual system, we set out to design an identity that captures the essence of Potoq, a place that is ever-changing, open, and alive with artistic expression. Our approach was to craft a visual language that mirrors the spontaneity, warmth, and fluidity of the gatherings, conversations, and creative exchanges that happen within this space. We chose a vibrant and youthful color palette for Art Potoq, reflecting the forward-thinking and energetic nature of the space. The visual forms were carefully designed to evoke a sense of movement, innovation, and creative flow, elements that define the spirit of the platform and its ever-evolving artistic landscape.
