NOOSH

Persian Botanical Heritage

Silver award winner project from A Design Award & Competition / 2025

Rooted in Iranian heritage, this crafted gin bridges tradition and modern craftsmanship. Inspired by Persia’s botanical legacy, it embodies centuries-old distillation practices and cultural storytelling. Founded by an Iranian woman, it infuses authentic Persian flavors like saffron and Persian rose, celebrating Iran’s rich traditions in a refined form. More than a spirit, it is a cultural artifact, for the owner, a symbol of sharing culture and heritage with the world.

Noosh design project draws inspiration from Persian poetry and storytelling, particularly the works of Khayyam, Hafez, and One Thousand and One Nights.

We created a design that evokes joyous gatherings, where drinking symbolizes celebration of life. By incorporating Eastern architectural elements like arches and domes, we crafted dreamlike spaces akin to majestic palaces. Each beverage flavor includes a unique story, transforming drinking into a meaningful cultural experience.

Our design features a metallized print label for a gin bottle, blending intricate illustration inspired by Persian architecture with an isometric perspective. The detailed line work and geometric precision reflect traditional motifs while embracing modern aesthetics. The metallic finish enhances depth and elegance, making the label both visually striking and tactile. Each bottle and flavor showcase unique storytelling variations, creating a distinct experience. This fusion of heritage and innovation elevates the product’s identity.

The label is printed in 206 mm x 140 mm and applied to a glass bottle. The bottle dimensions are 100 mm x 240 mm, (750 ml) designed to complement the intricate metallized print. The combination of high-quality materials and detailed illustration enhances both visual appeal and tactile experience, creating a premium look that reflects the product’s identity. The project began in July 2024 in Vancouver, Canada, and is an ongoing design process focused on Noosh’s upcoming products. It is now available in several provinces across Canada.
