‘The Silent Warble’ project, crafted in 2022, transcends words and delves into the unspoken depths of the soul. Created for the hauntingly beautiful composition
The Silent Warble and commissioned by the visionary a musician who lends her soulful voice to this journey.
This video art is a heartfelt tribute in memory of Ahmad Shamlou.
Through a powerful visual narrative, it explores how unspoken words create walls between souls, and the intense emotional burden carried when these barriers crumble.
As the creative minds behind this evocative video, we worked with a dedicated production team to bring this exploration of human connection to life.
Our goal was not only to craft a visual experience but also to delve into the intricate complexities of relationships, capturing the unfiltered essence of human needs, instincts, and desires.
Concepts in Set and Character Design:
The set design and character concepts center around two walls forming a corner, each symbolizing the inner world of an individual.
Hands reaching through these walls represent our innate human instincts, needs, and desires, persistent and unyielding.
The Man:
This character has no mouth but two large ears, symbolizing the weight of unspoken thoughts and an intense yearning to listen, absorb, and seek happiness beyond his own existence.
The Woman:
With a minimized focus on femininity, this character embodies the universal human need to love, be understood, and be heard. Her design aims to capture a pure human essence, someone yearning for connection, beyond any gender-specific traits.
The characters are rendered in soft, nude tones, avoiding association with specific eras, locations, or ages, to reflect a sense of timeless humanity, pure, enduring, and united by shared needs, desires, and barriers. Their mutual loneliness becomes a defining barrier of our generation, a divide that could be bridged by a vibrant, life-giving link, like a bird in a vivid color, symbolizing the hope to breathe life into their isolation.
