In Thoughts Of
Light

Wooden / Mirror Installation

This installation is a wooden-base artwork covered with plexiglass and a mirror-like piece, designed and crafted for an architecture studio in Tehran, Iran.

The studio is located in a renovated old house with traditional architectural features, including large arches. A key characteristic of this space is the play of light coming through expansive windows, casting shifting shadows that create unique visual experiences throughout the day, making light the ‘hero’ of this environment.

To emphasize this interaction with light, we chose mirror material for its reflective quality, enhancing and doubling the light within the space.

On the wall, we designed a handwritten typography layout and inscribeda short poem inspired by Japanese Haiku:

“In thoughts of light,

I will multiply you”.

Finally, we completed the piece with a delicate painting of branches surrounding the typography, bringing a natural touch to the artwork.
